DESSERT GOLIATH EGGPLANT

The Dessert Goliath eggplant variety is a medium-maturing, high-yield variety with a period from germination to harvest of 110-120 days. The plant is semi-spreading, tall, reaching a height of 160-170 cm, with a medium-intensity anthocyanin stem coloration and sparsely hairy coating. The leaf blade is of medium size, green, smooth with a slightly wavy edge. This variety is suitable for growing both in open ground and under film coverings or in greenhouses.

The eggplant fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, ranging in length from 18.5 to 27 cm and weighing 230-250 g. Their coloration is very dark dark purple, with a glossy surface. The flesh is white, dense, without bitterness, with a tender texture and a pleasant aroma. The absence of bitterness and excellent taste qualities make this variety versatile in cooking.

The Dessert Goliath eggplant is widely used in various dishes: it can be fried, baked, added to salads and stews. High yield, reaching 9.3 kg per square meter under film coverings, as well as versatility in application, make this variety attractive for gardeners and vegetable enthusiasts.
