Monty F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid of table beet, selected by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan, suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine. The vegetation period is 100-110 days from the emergence of the first seedlings. Thanks to its well-developed root system and dense foliage, this hybrid effectively withstands drought, high solar activity, sharp temperature fluctuations, and other adverse factors, ensuring stable plant development even under challenging climatic conditions. Monty F1 also exhibits resistance to fungal diseases and lacks a tendency to bolt, enhancing its reliability and ease of agronomic management.
The roots of Monty beet are round, with an average fruit weight of 200-300 grams. The fruit surface is smooth and even, with a dark red color. The flesh is characterized by high sugar content, rich flavor, and absence of radial light rings, making this hybrid particularly attractive for culinary use and processing.
The yield of this variety reaches 5-7 kg per square meter, and harvested crops retain their quality and flavor for a long time, allowing for long-term storage, drying, and juice production.
Monty F1 is ideally suited for spring cultivation in open ground and can be successfully grown on various soil types across Ukraine. Due to its strong growth and resilience, this hybrid is an excellent choice for both farmers and agronomists aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality harvest. Uniform ripening and high fruit marketability make Monty F1 convenient for mechanized harvesting and further processing.
