Sea buckthorn Elizaveta

Hippophae 'Elizaveta' is an early-ripening variety with high yield that is thornless, making fruit collection easy. The berries are bright orange, juicy, large (up to 1 g), and rich in vitamins, antioxidants, folic acid, and flavonoids. The flesh has a sweet-and-sour taste with a light pineapple aftertaste, and the sugar content reaches 8–9%.\n\nThe tree is of medium height (2.5–3.5 m) with a compact shape and can be either a small bush or a small tree. Thanks to its frost resistance down to –32 °C, drought tolerance, and disease resistance, 'Elizaveta' is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including harsh regions. During the season, one tree can yield 13–14 kg of fruit, making it attractive for both home gardens and industrial production.\n\nThe variety is also ornamental: leaves are deep green, and the undersides have a silver bloom, giving the bush an elegant appearance. The fruit stems keep the berries intact, facilitating their transport and storage. 'Elizaveta' is the ideal choice for those who value high yield, ease of care, and rich fruit flavor.
