AUGUSTINA

Seabuckthorn "Augustina" – one of the best early-ripening varieties, valued for large berries weighing about 1 gram and a bright orange color. The oval berries are fleshy and juicy, with a sweet taste and a slight tartness, making them popular both in folk medicine and in cooking.

The variety differs in high yield: up to 18 kg of fruit can be collected from one tree per season. Harvest time falls at the end of July – early August; thanks to early ripening, the berries are available earlier than most other varieties. "Augustina" adapts well to different climatic conditions: the plant is drought-resistant and frost-hardy down to –32 °C, making it suitable for both a personal garden and commercial growing.

Care for the bushes is simple: the soil must be loosened so the root system can "breathe," and mulch will help retain moisture and protect against pests. Thanks to compact growth and the lack of thorns on the shoots, harvesting is convenient, and high resistance to adverse factors ensures a stable fruit yield even in northern regions.
