Druzhina

Hippophae 'Druzhina' is one of the best large-fruited varieties of sea buckthorn, distinguished by its bright orange berries and sweet, almost non-acidic taste. Berries reach 0.9–1.3 g, making them ideal for fresh consumption, making juices, jams, drying, and freezing. Due to their low acidity, they blend easily in desserts and beverages, imparting a rich aroma to dishes.

Bushes of the 'Druzhina' variety have medium height (3–4 m) and a compact crown, which simplifies harvesting even without mechanization. The absence of thorns on shoots makes the harvesting process safe and convenient. The variety is resistant to drought and endomycosis, and can withstand low temperatures down to –35 °C, ensuring a long fruiting period.
