Rice Patriot

Driving Yield Potential: The 'Patriot' Rice Variety

For large-scale agricultural enterprises focused on industrial processing, the 'Patriot' rice variety offers a balanced combination of high productivity and robust agronomic performance. Developed by the Federal Research Center for Rice, this variety is engineered to withstand intensive production pressures.

Operational Efficiency in the Field

With a yield potential of 8–9 tons per hectare, 'Patriot' is designed to meet the demands of modern milling facilities. Its practical application in the field centers on three core advantages:

• Disease Resistance: The inherent genetic resistance to rice blast (Pyricularia) significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, optimizing production costs.
• Pest Tolerance: Resilience against common pests provides farmers with a wider margin of safety, ensuring crop integrity through the vegetative stages.
• Processing Suitability: Specifically bred for industrial milling, the grain structure ensures high milling yields when producing table rice, minimizing breakage and waste.

By integrating 'Patriot' into the crop rotation, agricultural managers can leverage its stable performance to enhance the profitability of rice paddies. It is an ideal choice for operations that prioritize high-volume production combined with a lower chemical dependency due to the variety's natural resistance profile.
