PHENOMEN — medium-late variety of rice (Oryza sativa L.), recommended for cultivation in the West-Delta zone of the Krasnodar Krai and the North Caucasian region. This variety belongs to the italianica type and is characterized by a short stem of medium length, a long panicle with strong curvature of the main axis, and a long spindle-shaped flocculent grain. The mass of 1000 grains ranges from 30 to 34 grams, indicating the grain's bulk and high quality. The phenological period of the variety is from 115 to 134 days, which allows obtaining a stable yield at medium-late maturation.

The PHENOMEN variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and medium resistance to shattering, ensuring crop preservation under unfavorable weather conditions. In addition, it is resistant to pyricularia — one of the most common rice diseases, reducing the need for intensive chemical protection. The average yield in the region reaches 77.8 c/ha, and in Krasnodar Krai — 83.9 c/ha, while maximum yield indicators can reach 107.1 c/ha, significantly exceeding the standard indicators of the Atlantic variety.

Technological and culinary qualities of the PHENOMEN variety are assessed as good, making it valuable for use in the food industry and cooking.
