Vicont

Rice variety "Vicont" is a medium-maturing grain type developed by Ukrainian breeders of the Institute of Rice of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The vegetative period of this variety is about 120 days, which allows it to be effectively grown in steppe regions. Yield of the variety reaches 112-114 centners per hectare, making it profitable for agricultural production in Ukraine.

The thousand-grain weight of the "Vicont" variety is 30 grams, with protein content in the grain reaching 8.2%. The husk content is 18%, and the glassiness is 98%, ensuring a high rice flour yield — approximately 68.5%. The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases and adverse climatic conditions, rated at 9-10 points, enhancing its reliability and yield stability.

"Vicont" rice is recommended for cultivation in steppe regions, particularly in the Kyzyldzhar region. The producer of the variety is the Institute of Rice of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, guaranteeing its quality and adaptation to local conditions. Due to its characteristics, this rice variety is suitable for various culinary purposes and can be successfully used both in industrial and household production.
