Description POLEVIK
POLEVIK is a mid-late variety of rice (Oryza sativa L.), distinguished by its excellent grain and coarse quality. This variety features a thousand-grain weight ranging from 27 to 30 grams and plant height between 93 and 97 centimeters. PPOLEVIK is resistant to lodging and possesses moderate resistance to pyricularia blight, ensuring stable yields and product quality.

The PPOLEVIK variety is recommended for preparing various dishes, including side dishes, pilaf, and East Asian cuisine. The coarse yield from the grain is 70–72%, making it attractive for culinary use. Thanks to its characteristics, the variety is widely used in the food industry and home cooking.

The maximum yield of the PPOLEVIK variety was recorded in the Krasnodar region and reached 94.8 centners per hectare. The average yield in the North Caucasus region is approximately 67.6 centners per hectare. The variety has been included in the State Register and enjoys stable demand due to the combination of high productivity and excellent grain quality.
