Falensky Anniversary is a mid-season common pea variety, created by double individual selection from the hybrid combination Falensky Usaty x Wi 9406. Plants of this variety have a height ranging from 67 to 110 cm, leaf type with white flowers and round seeds with yellow cotyledons. Pods are straight or with very weak curvature, with a blunt apex. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 155 to 211 g, which is slightly below standard indicators, however, the seeds are uniform and possess good culinary qualities. The vegetative period ranges from 74 to 108 days, corresponding to a medium-late maturity period. The variety is characterized by high yield of grain, as well as green and dry mass. According to the results of state variety trials, the average yield in various regions ranges from 15.2 to 36.2 c/ha, with a maximum indicator of 52.1 c/ha achieved in the Kirov region. In addition, the variety demonstrates increased protein content - up to 27.9%, which makes it valuable in terms of quality. Falensky Anniversary combines high productivity and nutritional value, which distinguishes it favorably among other pea varieties. The variety has medium resistance to lodging and drought, as well as increased resistance to seed shattering. According to the originator, it is moderately resistant to ascochitis of leaves and pods, but susceptible in seeds, and highly susceptible to fusarium root rots. Recommended for cultivation in the North-Western, Central, and Volga-Vyatka regions, including Kostroma, Kaluga, Kirov regions and the Perm Krai. Due to its characteristics, the variety is suitable for growing both for grain and green mass, ensuring stable and high yields.
