Description REGUL
Rice of the Regul variety is a medium-ripening organic product, distinguished by high nutritional and taste quality. This unpolished rice retains up to 80% of the nutrients in the bran layer, making it especially valuable for healthy eating. After cooking, the grains turn white, and the preparation time is at least 30 minutes, which allows for a fluffy and aromatic side dish. The manufacturer is I.P. Berezhovskaya S.M., a member of the Union of Organic Farmers of Kuban, who received an international quality certificate from the CERES agency.

The Regul variety is characterized by high grain translucency (98-100%), which indicates excellent culinary properties. The grain is of medium size and elongated shape with a length-to-width ratio of about 2.5; the mass of 1000 grains is 32-34 grams. The grain is white, with a high yield of 68-69%, while the content of whole kernels reaches 90%. Rice is recommended for making canned goods, soups, and other dishes where the preservation of grain shape and texture is important.

Agro-technical characteristics of the variety include resistance to soil salinization, lodging of plants, and shattering of spikelets, as well as moderate resistance to pyricularia. Plants reach a height of 90-95 cm, have a compact panicle 14-17 cm long with 95-110 spikelets. The vegetative period is 116-120 days. The variety withstands low positive temperatures during the seedling phase well and is suitable for early planting with deep seed incorporation. Potential yield reaches 9-10 tons per hectare, making Regul a profitable choice for growing in the North Caucasus region.
