Rice AKUSTIK

Genetic Profile and Productivity of "Akustik"

The "Akustik" rice variety, developed by the Agrarian Scientific Center "Donskoy," is a result of selective breeding focused on maximizing economic efficiency in rice farming. The key strength of this variety lies in its ability to combine intensive growth patterns with robust natural resistance to major agricultural threats.

Technical Resistance to Pathogens

The primary advantage of the "Akustik" variety is its genetically inherent resistance to rice blast (Pyricularia oryzae). In high-humidity environments typical of rice paddies, this pathogen is capable of causing significant yield losses. Adopting "Akustik" in crop rotation minimizes the risk of grain quality degradation, as its resistance to both leaf and panicle infection reduces the necessity for heavy fungicide applications.

Agrotechnological Performance

The variety shows a strong response to mineral fertilization, allowing agronomists to precisely manage yields through nutrition programs. Due to a well-balanced stem morphology, "Akustik" exhibits excellent lodging resistance, which is essential for mechanized harvesting operations. Additionally, its natural resilience to pests complements a comprehensive crop protection strategy, lowering overall insecticidal input costs.
