COURAGE is a late-ripening variety of rice (Oryza sativa L.), distinguished by its long-grain and high-quality characteristics. It belongs to the Gilanica subgroup and is characterized by the absence or very weak pubescence on the leaf blade of the penultimate leaf, as well as the absence of anthocyanin coloration in the ears. The stem and panicle are of medium length, with the panicle exhibiting medium curvature of the main axis. The mass of 1000 grains is 29-31 grams, indicating the grain's size. The variety is resistant to lodging and shattering, and possesses high technological and culinary qualities, making it in demand for various cooking methods. The COURAGE variety was registered in 2013 and recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, specifically in the Krasnodar Krai. In this region, it demonstrates high yields—the average indicator is 78.1 centners per hectare, which is 4.6 centners higher than the average standard. In Krasnodar Krai, yields can reach 89.6 centners per hectare, exceeding the standard of the Atlant variety by 8.1 centners. The maximum recorded yield was 106.2 centners per hectare. Under field conditions, the variety shows weak susceptibility to pyricularia, which enhances its stability and reliability during cultivation. The product is supplied in 25 or 50 kilogram bags, with grain moisture around 14%, and shatter levels varying from 9% to 20%. The minimum order batch is 10 tons. The variety meets GOST requirements and is produced under the brand Yug-Agro-Ris. COURAGE is an excellent choice for agricultural producers focused on obtaining high-quality long-grain rice with good yield and resistance to adverse conditions.
