The VELES rice variety has high and stable yield: the average yield in the region is 80.3 centners per hectare, and in the Krasnodar Territory it reaches 91.4 centners per hectare, corresponding to the Olympic standard level. The maximum yield recorded in 2019 in the Krasnodar Territory was 113.6 centners per hectare. Technological and culinary indicators of the variety are excellent, making it valuable in terms of quality. According to the applicant, the variety has medium resistance to pyricularia, which increases its reliability when growing.
