Escala Radish F1 is an early hybrid with bright red, round root vegetables, developed by the breeding company Enza Zaden from the Netherlands. The maturation period is only 20-25 days from sowing, allowing it to be grown in autumn, winter, and spring. The root vegetables have a diameter of 3-4 cm and weigh about 20-25 grams, featuring uniformity in shape and size, along with a bright sheen and snow-white internal structure. The radish flesh is tender, juicy, does not become tough, and does not form voids or fibers even with insufficient moisture.
The plant is compact with a powerful leaf apparatus that firmly holds on the root vegetable. Escala Radish is resistant to cracking and bolting at any growing time, ensuring stable high yields. It retains its color well after washing and transport, making it in demand for fresh market sales, as well as for producing bunch products and use in home cooking.
The hybrid is suitable for growing both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses, optimal for year-round cultivation and organic farming. To achieve the best results, it is recommended to observe crop rotation, maintain soil moisture, and avoid overcrowded plantings. The sowing rate is 200-240 pieces per square meter. Escala radish harvest is well-preserved after collection for 5-7 days, ensuring convenience for storage and transport.
