Description TINTO
Tinto Radish F1 is an early hybrid variety intended for spring cultivation both in the open field and under cover. This variety is characterized by strong growth and high yield, forming round root crops with a diameter of 35 to 45 mm, a tapered end, and a shiny red skin. The leaves are dark green, medium foliage, which promotes good plant development. Root crops are uniform, free from hollowness and cracking, and have excellent taste qualities with a characteristic sharp flavor due to the mustard oil content. Tinto Radish F1 is best grown in colder months, as in warm and sunny summers the plant tends to form flowering stems instead of roots. The optimal sowing time for seeds is from early March to late April, but sowings can also be carried out until September, which allows obtaining fresh root crops from April to October with batch sowings. Seeds are planted in rows with a distance between plants of 10-20 cm at a depth of no more than 1 cm. Successful radish cultivation requires fertile, moderately moist soil rich in humus, with prior preparation and fertilization, such as ammonium phosphate, potassium chloride, and manure. Care for radish includes regular watering and feeding with potassium sulfate, which promotes rapid development and quality formation of root crops. The vegetation period is about 25-30 days, which allows for quick harvest. Tinto Radish F1 is widely used in cooking due to its freshness and crunchy texture, ideal for salads, sandwiches, cottage cheese dishes, okroshka, and soups. Thanks to its cold hardiness and good tolerance to transplanting, this variety is a versatile and reliable choice for vegetable growers.
