The Bussinka radish variety is an early-maturing and high-yielding variety, reaching technical maturity in just 19-25 days after germination. This variety is characterized by a weakly foliose rosette of leaves, which facilitates care and harvest. The root crops have an oval shape, a bright red color, and large dimensions—up to 4-5 cm in diameter, with a mass of 30-40 grams. The skin of the radish is thin, and the flesh is white, juicy, and tender, with a mild taste, without cavities and coarse fibers, which makes it especially attractive for fresh consumption.
The Bussinka variety is valued for its quick filling of large and uniform root crops, as well as its resistance to bolting, which allows for a stable and quality harvest. The yield is from 1.2 to 1.6 kg per square meter, which makes this radish an excellent choice for regular harvests. Thanks to the small rosette of leaves and high germination (about 95%), the variety is easy to grow in open ground and in greenhouses.
To obtain maximum yield, it is recommended to sow radish Bussinka in late April - early May at a depth of about 1 cm. Re-sowing in mid-July allows for an additional harvest in August-September. Radish is ideal for fresh consumption, in salads with sauce, and vegetable appetizers, thanks to its mild taste and juicy structure.
