EARLY CRUNCHY RADISH

The 'Early Crunchy' radish variety is an ultra-early type with bright red, round root crops weighing from 20 to 35 grams. The radish flesh is white, juicy, and crunchy, without bitterness, making it especially attractive for fresh consumption. The variety is distinguished by uniform fruiting and resistance to bolting, which ensures a stable and high yield. The radish flavor is piquant and mildly spicy, suitable for preparing salads, garnishing dishes, or eating as an appetizer.

Sowing Early Crunchy radish is recommended in open ground at the end of April – beginning of May at a depth of about 1 cm with row spacing of 5-7 cm and plants at 15 cm. To obtain a regular harvest, sowings are repeated every 2-3 weeks. Radish prefers light, structured, and well-fertilized soils and responds positively to irrigation. Seedlings appear in 4-5 days, and technical ripeness is reached just 18-21 days after sowing.

This radish variety is well suited for growing in the interrow spaces of other crops, such as onion, carrot, and potato, which makes it convenient for gardeners and allotment holders. Yield is from 1.4 to 2.8 kg per square meter, and root crops can be stored without foliage in a cool place for up to one week. Early Crunchy is a hardy and productive variety that is excellent for fresh market and home consumption.
