Antoshka

Radish 'Antoshka' is an early-maturing crop with high agronomic and taste characteristics. The plants form a semi-erect leaf rosette with short, inversely oval, green leaves with a yellowish tint and anthocyanin pigmentation of the petioles. The roots are round, bright red, weighing from 10 to 21 grams, with white, dense, and juicy flesh having a delicate and delicatessen taste. The radish size varies between 2.3-2.8 cm in length and width, which ensures a marketable appearance and high transportability of the product.

The variety is characterized by a very early maturity date: the first harvest can be collected as early as 18 days after seedling emergence. Antoshka is resistant to bolting, which allows for a stable and quality yield. Yield in open ground reaches 2.2-3.0 kg per square meter, and with multiple planting, harvest can be collected throughout the summer season. The radish tolerates sharp temperature fluctuations, drought, and lack of moisture well, making it universal for cultivation in various climatic conditions.

Antoshka is suitable for both open ground and greenhouse cultivation, allowing up to four harvests per season. Due to high cold tolerance, the first roots can be served on the table by mid-April. This radish variety is an excellent choice for lovers of fresh vegetables grown by their own hands, combining high productivity, resistance to unfavorable conditions, and superior taste qualities.
