Description Gusar
Radish variety Gusar is an early-maturing variety that reaches technical maturity in just 22-25 days from germination. This variety is characterized by high yield and is suitable for growing both in open ground and on a balcony or windowsill. Due to its lack of fussiness regarding lighting and small foliage, Gusar is ideal for limited spaces, allowing for the regular harvesting of fresh root crops for consumption.

The root crops of radish Gusar have a round shape and bright red color with a diameter of up to 3 cm. The skin is thin, while the flesh is white, juicy, and very tender, with a slightly sharp taste and without coarse fibers. The mass of one root crop ranges from 22 to 30 grams. The variety is resistant to bolting and flowering, which ensures a stable and quality harvest. Yield reaches 3.2-3.4 kg per square meter.

For growing radish Gusar, it is recommended to use fertile, loose soil and ensure regular watering, as the plant prefers moist soil. Seeding can be done from late April throughout the season until mid-July, maintaining a distance of 3-5 cm between plants. For balcony growing, boxes no more than 10 cm in height with a planting depth of about 1 cm are suitable. Radish is consumed primarily fresh, is excellent for salads and okroshka, thanks to its tender taste and crunchy texture.
