Radish BABY RADISH

Technical Specifications of the Early-Maturing Radish

The "Detsky" radish is a selection achievement focused on a highly compressed vegetation cycle. With a maturity period ranging from 20 to 25 days, this hybrid effectively minimizes exposure to soil pathogens, which is a major advantage for commercial vegetable production.

Root Morphology and Physiology

The core technical feature of the "Detsky" variety is its root architecture. The round shape ensures uniform internal density, preventing internal hollows or cracking, which are common issues in faster-growing varieties. With an average weight of 20–25 grams per root, the variety maintains high commercial output even under high-density sowing conditions.

• Pigmentation: The intense dark red skin serves as an indicator of high anthocyanin content and excellent visual appeal for the consumer market.
• Adaptability: The variety is calibrated for both spring and summer cultivation cycles, showing consistent development patterns.
• Genetic Provenance: Developed and patented by Elizaveta Romanovna Kudryavtseva (RF), ensuring the stability and purity of the genetic material.

For the professional grower, "Detsky" represents a high-turnover solution. Its short maturity cycle allows for 3–4 rotations per season on the same plot, provided that irrigation and light requirements are met, making it an efficient tool for high-intensity farming.
