Samson

Samson pepper is an early hybrid intended for fresh consumption and processing. The plant is powerful, semi-spreading, medium-height, well-leafed, reaching 60-70 cm in height. Fruits are elongated-cuboid, uniform, strong, and glossy, with a downward position on the bush. Fruit weight varies from 145 to 215 grams, wall thickness is 6-8 mm, and the number of locules is 4. In technical ripeness, fruits have a yellowish-green color, and in biological ripeness, they transition from orange-red to deep red.

The hybrid features uniform fruit ripening and high yield, reaching 5.5 kg per square meter. It has good marketability and excellent transportability, making it suitable for commercial cultivation. The variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, moderately resistant to wilting diseases, and demonstrates high heat, cold, and stress tolerance, allowing cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground.

Samson pepper is suitable for various uses due to its flavor qualities and strong fruits. It can be used fresh or for processing, expanding its applications in culinary and food industries.
