Pepper MOPS

A Compact Giant for Your Garden

The «Mops» pepper variety by Euro-Semena is the result of selective breeding work led by Yuri Dmitrievich Tarasov, aimed at achieving stable yields in diverse climatic conditions. Its determinate growth habit makes this variety a favorite among small-plot gardeners and farmers who prefer compact plants with high productivity.

Agronomic Potential and Specifications

The main advantage of «Mops» lies in the balance between the plant's size and fruit quality. Being a determinate variety, the plant develops heavy, trapezoidal peppers that do not require complex pruning or staking. With a ripening period of 100–110 days, this pepper is versatile enough for cultivation in both glass greenhouses and open fields.

• Fruit Weight: 120–160 grams, the «gold standard» for stuffed peppers and culinary processing.
• Wall Thickness: 7–8 mm, providing great succulence and a premium commercial appearance.
• Color Transition: The fruits mature from a soft yellow-white in the technical stage to a deep, vibrant red upon biological maturity.

The reputation of the Euro-Semena brand is backed by years of market experience. «Mops» is the choice for those seeking predictable results without the hassle often associated with tall, indeterminate crops. The dense structure of the walls ensures excellent shelf life and transportability, making the variety suitable for both home consumption and local market sales.
