Maize DMS 2409

Consistent Yields in Challenging Environments

The DMS 2409 hybrid by NVFG "Kompaniia Mais" is designed for growers focused on maximizing marketable grain yield and high-quality forage. Featuring a dent-type kernel, this simple hybrid is highly efficient during post-harvest processing: it is easy to thresh and demonstrates excellent dry-down characteristics, which is crucial for reducing drying costs.

Agronomic Potential and Resilience

In the field, DMS 2409 proves to be a reliable performer. Its key advantage is a robust genetic profile resistant to major pathogens. The hybrid’s immunity to common and head smut significantly reduces the need for secondary fungicide applications during later growth stages. Importantly for regions with high pest pressure, the hybrid shows strong tolerance to the European corn borer, maintaining stem integrity and preventing lodging throughout the season.

• Vegetation Period: 120–140 days, allowing for optimized harvest scheduling.
• Usage: A versatile hybrid suitable for both livestock forage production and the starch processing industry.
• Hybrid Type: A simple cross ensuring excellent crop uniformity and consistent ear development.

Choosing DMS 2409 means safeguarding your harvest against biological risks. Developed by the Mais team, this hybrid is built for those who value predictable results: a strong stand, freedom from smut diseases, and a consistently high yield per hectare.
