Description DMS 2409
The DMS 2409 corn hybrid is a medium-early simple interline hybrid of grain type with FAO 240, developed by the Ukrainian company Maïs. It is characterized by high yield up to 140 ц/ha and reaches a plant height of about 220 cm. The ear has a conical shape, located at a height of 75 cm from the base of the plant, and is distinguished by high ear attachment strength. The kernels are toothed, yellow, with row numbers ranging from 14 to 16. The hybrid exhibits intensive kernel drying after physiological maturity, which facilitates efficient harvest. DMS 2409 has high adaptability and resistance to various climatic conditions, allowing its cultivation in regions of the Northern Steppe, Forest Steppe, Polissya, and Southern Steppe. It demonstrates excellent cold resistance and resistance to smut, as well as high resistance to diseases and stress factors, including common smut, corn earworm, and lodging both during maturity and up to 30 days after. These qualities make the hybrid a reliable choice for various cultivation zones. The DMS 2409 hybrid is versatile in use, suitable for both grain, silage, and starch applications. Early maturity and efficient kernel drying ensure timely and quality harvest. High ear attachment strength and stem flexibility make the plant resistant to lodging, further enhancing harvest stability and product quality.
