Description BUSLAY
BUSLAY is a medium-maturing leafless pea variety with a vegetative period ranging from 76 to 92 days. The plants reach a height of 45 to 92 cm, and the mass of 1000 seeds varies between 191-229 g. The seeds are round in shape with yellow cotyledons. The variety is characterized by high resistance to shattering and medium resistance to lodging and drought, ensuring crop stability under various climatic conditions. Protein content in the grains reaches up to 29.7%, making this variety a valuable source of plant protein.

BUSLAY is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the East-Siberian, Central-Black Earth, North-Caucasian, and Middle-Volga regions. The average yield of the variety is about 22.1 centners per hectare. Despite its high productivity, the variety has medium resistance to diseases, particularly ascochitis, which affects leaves and pods to a weak or moderate degree. However, the variety is highly susceptible to root rots, which requires careful attention to agronomy and plant protection.

BUSLAY peas not only ensure high levels of protein, vitamins, carbohydrates, and minerals but also have a positive impact on the agroecosystem. This crop improves soil structure, enhances its fertility, and reduces the need for mineral fertilizers, contributing to sustainable agriculture. Due to its qualities and adaptability, BUSLAY is a promising choice for farmers seeking high-quality and eco-friendly harvests.
