Pea Impulse

Efficiency and Lodging Resistance

The «Impulse» pea variety is engineered for farms that prioritize harvest speed and field efficiency. As a leafless (semi-leafless) type, it features a unique vine architecture that provides superior resistance to lodging. This structural advantage makes it an excellent candidate for direct harvesting, reducing machine stress and minimizing grain losses that often occur with conventional varieties.

Disease Resilience and Field Management

In high-intensity crop rotations, «Impulse» demonstrates robust health, particularly in its resistance to root rot. By limiting susceptibility to common threats such as anthracnose and ascochyta blight, the variety allows growers to rationalize their fungicide spray programs. This makes it a practical choice for managing costs while maintaining stable yields in various soil conditions.

Crop Performance Metrics

• Growth Cycle: 90-100 days, providing a predictable window for harvest planning.
• Nutritional Profile: A protein content of 22-24%, ensuring marketability for both feed and processing industries.
• Seed Potential: A 1000-seed weight of 260-280g, contributing to uniform emergence and strong early-stage development.

Designed for large-scale operations, «Impulse» does not require complex adjustments to standard agricultural protocols. It is a reliable, machinery-friendly option that delivers consistent results in the field, helping farmers optimize their harvesting operations and achieve higher throughput during the peak season.
