Lupin Progressivnyi

Genetic Resistance and Agronomic Value

The 'Progresyvnyi' lupine variety, developed by the Chernihiv Institute of Agricultural Production (NAAS of Ukraine), is engineered specifically for high-intensity green forage production. The core technical advantage of this variety is its genetic resilience to Fusarium wilt. In crop rotation systems where soil-borne pathogens often compromise stand density, 'Progresyvnyi' maintains structural integrity, ensuring high biomass yield even in high-risk environments.

Technical Specifications

• Primary usage: Green forage production.
• Origin: Ukraine (Chernihiv Institute of Agricultural Production).
• Phytosanitary profile: Enhanced resistance to Fusarium infections.

By minimizing the risk of fungal root decay, this variety allows agronomists to reduce the need for aggressive fungicide applications, supporting more sustainable farming practices. The plant architecture is optimized for rapid vegetative growth, allowing for an efficient harvest window. For livestock producers, 'Progresyvnyi' serves as a reliable source of protein-rich forage, capable of thriving across Ukraine's typical soil and climatic conditions without the significant yield penalties associated with common lupine pathogens.
