Kruglyk is a multi-leafed lupine, distinguished by its bright and prolonged flowering in shades of blue, violet, indigo, and light blue. The plant height ranges from 80 to 100 cm, with a width of 40–50 cm. It grows rapidly, reaching full size in 2–3 years, and tolerates moderate frosts and summer heat well. The best growing conditions are full sun, but the plant also withstands light semi-shade.
Kruglyk has a powerful taproot system and requires deep, drained soils. Watering should be moderate and regular, directed at the roots. For nutrition, the plant responds well to complex fertilizers with low nitrogen content, as well as phosphorus-potassium additives. Pruning involves removing withered stems and, in autumn, cutting back to 15 cm from the base.
Fertility and resistance to pests are ensured by using biological preparations: Actara, DEFENDA Octant, Provanto Tip, Skor, Topaz, Protect. Main pests are aphids, thrips, and slugs; main diseases are powdery mildew, fusarium wilt, and rust. Kruglyk continues to bloom after pruning, demonstrating decorativeness from spring to autumn with low maintenance.
