Lupinus species LUGOVAYA 67 is a variable variety of leguminous plants, intended for cultivation as a feed crop. The plants are of medium height with semi-upright bushes and medium-length leaves; the central leaflet is characterized by its broad shape. The flowers are predominantly dark blue-violet, with rare cream, white, and yellow shades. The seeds are kidney-shaped, yellow-brown in color, with a mass of 1000 seeds ranging from 2.1 to 2.2 grams and a hard seed content of 10 to 30%. The variety is distinguished by its high resistance to diseases, in particular, it is slightly affected by small brown blotch and has medium resistance to fusarium wilt. The yield of dry matter during the test years amounted to 37.5 centners per hectare in the Central region and 53.0 centners per hectare in the Volga-Vyatsk region, indicating the good productivity of the variety under various climatic conditions. Lupinus LUGOVAYA 67 was developed as a result of work by the State Union Research Institute of Forage named after V.R. Williams and AOZT "Agroprogress". Thanks to its characteristics and resistance to diseases, the variety is widely used in agriculture for obtaining high-quality feed, providing stable nutrition for animals and contributing to efficient feed production.
