Fescue JAY 5

The Professional Choice for High-Traffic Turf

The J-5 (ДЖЕЙ 5) red fescue from the renowned US breeder Jacklin Seed is specifically engineered for those who require more than just aesthetic appeal. This variety is widely recognized for its robust performance in areas where foot traffic is heavy, making it an essential component for high-quality lawn establishment.

Key Application Scenarios

• Recreational and Residential Areas: Designed for superior wear tolerance, the J-5 is an excellent solution for backyards, playgrounds, and park zones subjected to consistent use.
• Professional Landscape Projects: The deep, dark-green color of the blades provides a premium visual finish that enhances the curb appeal of any commercial or residential property.
• Weed Suppression: Its ability to form a dense turf canopy makes it difficult for opportunistic weeds to establish, reducing the need for aggressive management practices.

Best Practices for Establishment

To achieve the lush, uniform look expected from the Jacklin Seed genetics, a seeding rate of 30–40 g/m² is recommended. Proper seed-to-soil contact is critical during the planting phase to ensure optimal germination. Once established, the J-5 red fescue develops a resilient root system that helps the lawn thrive throughout the growing season. By selecting J-5, you are investing in a proven variety that balances durability with a superior, vibrant green aesthetic.
