Longfellow

Fescue «Longfellow» – a high-quality turf seed variety, known as «Red Fescue». The seeds are 100% premium grade and have a high protein content. The recommended sowing density is in the range of 20–25 g/m², and the germination rate reaches 80‑90%. Thanks to this, the turf roots quickly, forming a thick and even mat.

The variety is distinguished by excellent durability and winter hardiness: it maintains density and a rich dark green color even at low mowing heights (scale 1–9) and is resistant to frosts down to -10°C, snowfalls, and wet winter conditions. Moreover, «Longfellow» demonstrates good salt tolerance and the ability to withstand both summer and winter periods without noticeable color changes.

The flexibility of application makes it suitable for a wide range of landscaping tasks: from decorative lawns in gardens and parks to sports fields and commercial areas. The variety is resistant to major plant diseases, including rust, leaf spots, and powdery mildew, and also has moderate drought tolerance. Regular care ensures a dense turf and maintains the decorative quality of the surface.
