Fescue Cinderella

A robust lawn solution: why choose Cinderella Fescue

Creating a high-quality turf requires more than just proper soil preparation; it demands a variety capable of withstanding heavy traffic. Cinderella Red Fescue by the Danish company DLF is the go-to choice for professionals looking for a perfect balance between visual appeal and physical resilience.

Practical Applications

Unlike many ornamental blends, this variety demonstrates exceptional wear tolerance. This makes it an ideal solution for:

• Urban parks and high-traffic public green spaces.
• Residential lawns designed for active play and recreation.
• Landscaped areas that require a dense and aesthetically pleasing turf throughout the entire season.

The variety is known for its uniform growth, forming a dense, thick carpet that naturally suppresses weed development. Thanks to DLF’s specialized Danish breeding, the grass shows excellent adaptability to various soil types.

Agronomic Recommendations

To achieve the best results, follow a seeding rate of 25–30 grams per square meter. This density allows the plants to establish a strong root system, which is the key factor in its high resistance to mechanical stress. Cinderella Red Fescue is low-maintenance, significantly reducing long-term upkeep costs. It performs exceptionally well both as a mono-culture and when incorporated into grass mixtures, complementing other turf species seamlessly.
