NIL – this is a type of oats intended for sowing in lawns and decorative plantings. The seeds have a light-red color, average grain size (about 0.8–1.0 mm), and a density of about 70% of the volume. When planting, it is recommended to use soil with good drainage ability, pH 5.5–7.0, and a moderate moisture regime. Germination time is 10–14 days at a temperature of 15–20 °C.
For successful cultivation, the seeds should be sown in spring months (April–May) at a density of 30–40 grams per square meter, followed by regular watering and feeding with nitrogen fertilizers. The plant grows well in moderate climate conditions and can be used as a fodder crop, as well as for creating decorative lawns.
When growing, it is important to monitor the soil condition: it should be loose, with good drainage, to avoid waterlogging. Regular watering during drought periods and timely feeding will ensure a dense seed coverage and healthy grass growth. This approach allows for obtaining a thick, even lawn suitable both for decorative purposes and for feeding animals.
