Description KRASNODARSKAYA 14
KRASNODARSKAYA 14 is an annual oat variety (Avena sativa) intended for growing in temperate climatic conditions and widely used as feed grain, as well as for the production of hay and sphagnum moss. The plant reaches a height of 30–45 cm, with leaf blades 2.5–3 cm wide, and seeds have a dark, almost reddish hue, which gives the variety its name «Krasnodarskaya». Planting density is 20–25 seedlings per square meter, and the optimal soil temperature for sowing is from +5 °C to +15 °C.

The variety has high yield potential: by observing agrotechnical standards, it is possible to obtain from 4 to 13 t/ha. The quality of the grain is characterized by a white color, medium density and protein content of about 11–13 %. This provides good flour for bread and excellent feed quality for livestock. Resistance to diseases is also a key advantage: KRASNODARSKAYA 14 is resistant to powdery mildew, serean spotting, fungal diseases (moldy and root), as well as rust diseases such as Fusarium.

To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to use an optimal fertilization regime: nitrogen 120–140 kg/ha, phosphorus 30–40 kg/ha, potassium 80–90 kg/ha. Observing these norms and proper agricultural care (regular pruning, protection from pests) the variety provides a stable yield of grain and high nutritional value of feed. Due to these characteristics, KRASNODARSKAYA 14 is a popular choice among farmers seeking high yields and quality products.
