KRASNODARSKAYA 36 is a variety of fescue (Festuca arundinacea) intended for seeding lawns and forage crops in temperate climate zones. Plants reach a height of 80–90 cm at flowering, have a dense root system and medium to high yield: about 150–170 c/ha of green mass and 70–80 c/ha of dry matter when sown at 5–10 kg/m². The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness, drought resistance, and low susceptibility to diseases, including rust and other fungal diseases.
KRASNODARSKAYA 36 is characterized by moderate resistance to pests such as aphids and chinch bugs, as well as to some parasites. Thanks to the dense structure of the leaves and a good root system, the plant forms a stable lawn that retains its decorative appearance even under intensive use.
The variety is widely used both for creating decorative lawns and as a forage crop. The grain has a high protein content (12–13%) and starch, making it a valuable source of nutrition for livestock. With proper agronomic care, KRASNODARSKAYA 36 ensures a stable yield and high product quality throughout the season.
