Fescue KRASNODARSKAYA 36

Operating the 'Krasnodarskaya 36' Fescue: A Practical Perspective

For any farm manager or landscaper, selecting the right grass variety is about balancing durability with ease of management. The 'Krasnodarskaya 36' fescue, developed by the Lukyanenko National Grain Center, functions as a reliable workhorse. It is a highly adaptive variety that thrives with minimal input, making it a cost-effective choice for both forage production and lawn management.

Agronomic Performance and Maintenance

The plant height ranges from 60 to 100 cm, offering flexibility for both mowing cycles and grazing rotation. One of the standout features for field operation is the variety’s genetic resistance to aphids. This trait significantly reduces the need for frequent insecticide applications, thereby lowering maintenance costs and reducing chemical exposure on your land.

• Recovery and Regrowth: The variety exhibits strong post-mowing regeneration. Whether you are harvesting forage or maintaining a utility lawn, the plant bounces back quickly, ensuring consistent biomass production throughout the season.
• Durability: With a robust root system, this fescue creates a dense sod that stands up well to traffic and grazing pressure. It maintains its structural integrity, reducing soil erosion and keeping the ground cover healthy.
• Seeding Efficiency: The high germination energy leads to uniform crop establishment. By following standard sowing protocols, you can expect an even stand, minimizing the need for reseeding and maximizing your land utilization.

Application and Adaptability

Developed to withstand diverse environmental conditions, 'Krasnodarskaya 36' is as versatile as it is hardy. In forage systems, it provides a reliable source of green mass, while in landscaping, it creates a durable and visually stable turf. It is a low-maintenance solution for operators who prioritize consistent results, resistance to common pests, and long-term stability of the sward.
