The Poa pratensis 'BARDJINI' variety is a perennial grass from the grass family, designed for creating decorative lawns, sports fields, and playgrounds. The seeds feature medium density (0.5–1.2 g/m²), large forms, and good germination: average germination speed is 7–10 days at 15–20 °C.
The plant reaches a height of up to 30–35 cm., forming a dense moss layer that lasts for 2–3 years. Poa prefers sunny and semi-shaded areas, grows well on soils with good drainage capacity – fresh, clay, and sandy. It withstands a temperature range from 0 to 30 °C, making it versatile for various climate zones.
Care for 'BARDJINI' is simple: moderate water consumption, regular irrigation during drought; moist soils promote growth and moss density. During active growth, nitrogen fertilizers (urea, ammonia) are recommended at doses of 50–70 g/m². To prevent fungal diseases (gray mold, powdery mildew), fungicides (methylbenzimidazole) are used under humid conditions and high temperatures. Pests – insects (bees, beetles), caterpillars; if necessary, use insecticides based on pyrethroids.
