Bluegrass MIDURALAL 8

Resilience for Northern Landscapes

The 'Sredneuralsky 8' Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) is a specialized cultivar developed by the Ural Federal Agrarian Research Center to withstand challenging environmental pressures. While many imported turf varieties struggle with the combination of high humidity and temperature fluctuations, this variety excels by prioritizing disease resistance and structural integrity.

Key Operational Advantages

• Natural Disease Shield: Highly resistant to helminthosporium and powdery mildew. This reduces the need for frequent fungicide application, making it a lower-maintenance option for residential lawns.
• Visual Profile: It features a distinct light-green leaf color, providing a crisp, airy aesthetic that stands out from darker turf types.
• Dual-Purpose Performance: Engineered to handle the rigorous demands of sports pitches while maintaining the elegance required for professional landscaping.

Why Choose 'Sredneuralsky 8'?

This variety is a practical solution for professionals managing high-traffic turf areas or private properties in regions prone to fungal outbreaks. Its primary strength lies in its ability to establish a dense, resilient sod under conditions that would stress less robust cultivars. While it requires routine mowing to manage its vigorous growth cycle during the peak season, the return on investment is a long-lasting, healthy lawn that performs reliably year after year.
