VEYA Ryegrass is a perennial grass culture that combines decorative and feed properties. The variety is characterized by a bright, juicy green shade, high turf density, and good drought and trampling resistance. Thanks to a strong root system and bushy growth, it quickly recovers after mowing, allowing it to be cut 2-3 times per season without losing quality.
As a feed grass, Veya Ryegrass ensures high nutritional value: crude protein content in dry matter reaches 18-20%, and fiber does not exceed 23-25%. Green mass yield ranges from 34 to 40 t/ha, hay is 6.8 t/ha, and seeds are 0.7 t/ha. The variety responds quickly to nitrogen fertilization and recovers after mowing faster than traditional grasses, making it a valuable component in pasture mixes and silages.
Veya Ryegrass is also widely used in greening: lawn mixes, parks, stadiums, and construction sites. Its strong root system improves soil structure, increasing fertility and retaining moisture. The variety is easy to sow both pure and under cover of spring cereals; optimal sowing depth is 1.5-2 cm, and sowing density is 5 million viable seeds per hectare. Thanks to disease and pest resistance, as well as low susceptibility to rust, Veya Ryegrass remains a reliable choice for farmers and landscape designers.
