PARDUS is a meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis Huds.), diploid variety intended for autumn sowing in an intermediate form. The plant is characterized by an intermediate growth habit, semi-erect at heading, with medium-length and medium-width green leaves. The plant height ranges from medium to tall, with inflorescences forming with a weak-medium tendency in the first year of sowing, and medium time in the second year.
The variety demonstrates high dry matter yield: in the 2nd region, it reaches 39.0 c/ha (+4.0 above the average standard), with a maximum yield of 84.9 c/ha. In the 10th region, the average yield is 35.4 c/ha (+2.7 above the standard), with a maximum of 53.1 c/ha. In the 7th region, the average yield is 24.1 c/ha, and the maximum is 39.9 c/ha.
PARDUS also maintains a stable protein content of approximately 6.4%, which corresponds to the average standard. The variety is suitable for cultivation in the North-Western, Middle-Volga, and West-Siberian regions, where it has already proven its productivity and resilience to autumn sowing conditions.
