Description YASMUND
YASMUND is a medium-maturing variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with a vegetation period ranging from 84 to 97 days. It is characterized by its dwarf stature and high yield, reaching a maximum of 88.6 c/ha. The variety is distinguished by its good resistance to lodging, which helps preserve the quality of the harvest and facilitates harvesting.

This variety exhibits high resistance to yellow rust and powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of losses under unfavorable weather conditions and diseases. Furthermore, YASMUND demonstrates medium resistance to Fusarium head blight, brown rust, and septoria, moderate resistance to hard head smut, as well as moderate susceptibility to root rots. However, the variety is highly susceptible to powdery bunt, which requires attention during cultivation.

YASMUND is recommended for cultivation in the Kaluga, Ryazan, and Oryol regions. It is widely used for bread-making production due to its high grain quality. To improve yield and grain quality indicators, it is recommended to apply nitrogen fertilizers at sowing and top-dressing during the vegetation period.
