The Stromok wheat variety is a modern Odessa winter soft wheat developed at the Selection-Genetic Institute of UAAN. This variety belongs to the universal category and is characterized by high yield, reaching 90-100 centners per hectare. It exhibits high drought resistance, frost tolerance, and resistance to major plant diseases, making it especially valuable for cultivation in steppe zones. Stromok is included in the State Register of Ukraine and is recommended for cultivation on high agrofunds using intensive sowing technologies.
Wheat of 3rd class of the Stromok variety is characterized by quality indicators important for the food industry and animal feed. The kernels have a gluten content of about 23%, and the percentage of kernels of other species should not exceed 15%. The kernels must be whole, without damage, without foreign odors such as petroleum or wormwood, and without signs of mold or spoilage. Grain quality is assessed based on composition, color, gluten, glassiness, impurities, and presence of sprouts.
Wheat of the Stromok variety is available for purchase with delivery from various points in the Odessa region, including Izmail, Arciz, and Black Sea port terminals, as well as the Odessa elevator. Prices vary depending on delivery conditions and destination points, enabling flexible procurement and logistics planning. High grain quality and adaptation to local climatic conditions make the Stromok variety an advantageous choice for agricultural producers and processors.
