Wheat STRU 080150s5

Field Performance of Strube Winter Wheat

Working with German genetics from Strube, you expect a high level of reliability, and the ШТРУ 080150с5 variety lives up to this reputation. This bearded winter wheat demonstrates the consistent performance typical of European breeding programs. For a farm operator, the plant height of 90-100 cm is a significant benefit: it simplifies harvesting logistics, reduces strain on combine harvesters, and makes managing crop residue much more efficient.

Agrotechnical Insights

In the field, this variety shows excellent adaptability. The awned (bearded) spikes provide a natural defense against birds, which is a major advantage for yield preservation during the final maturation stages. The balanced plant height minimizes the risk of lodging, even in seasons with heavy nitrogen applications. When sourcing directly from Strube, the uniformity of the seed fraction is a constant, which saves time on planter calibration and ensures consistent emergence.

• Awned spikes: effective protection against bird damage.
• Height of 90-100 cm: optimal balance between grain yield and biomass.
• German precision: reduced crop stress during unpredictable weather patterns.

Managing this variety doesn't require complex or unconventional methods; it follows standard technological protocols perfectly. The real value for an agronomist lies in its predictability, allowing for precise planning of storage capacities and post-harvest sales strategies.
