LG ROZARKA wheat is a medium-early, high-yielding winter wheat variety developed by the German originator Limagrain. This variety is characterized by its high adaptability to the climatic conditions of Ukraine, including steppes, forest-steppes, and lowlands, ensuring stable yields across various regions of the country. Plant height is 80-90 cm, and the thousand-grain weight ranges from 43-45 g, indicating high-quality seed material.
LG ROZARKA is distinguished by its high protein content (around 13%) and gluten (23%), making it especially valuable for the bakery industry. It is a glabrous variety, which simplifies harvesting and reduces losses during grain collection. Thanks to its well-developed root system and high resistance to drought and diseases, this wheat demonstrates excellent winter hardiness and the ability to withstand adverse weather conditions.
Recommended sowing dates and rates depend on climatic conditions and sowing time: for early sowings, the rate is approximately 3.7 million seeds per hectare, for medium sowings — 4 million, and for late sowings — up to 4.5 million seeds per hectare. The best regions for cultivation include Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipro, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions. This variety is a reliable choice for farmers focused on producing high-quality bakery wheat.
