Odesa Tradition

Odesa Tradition wheat — a universal winter variety intended for cultivation under various agroclimatic conditions, including steppe and forest-steppe zones. This variety is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability, enabling successful cultivation on medium and low agrofunds. The vegetation period lasts approximately 280-284 days, ensuring stable crop development and maturation under variable climatic conditions.

The variety is characterized by high yield, ranging from 7.6 to 12.5 tons per hectare depending on growing conditions. Plants reach a height of 94-98 cm and exhibit high resistance to lodging, shattering, and other stress factors. Odesa Tradition wheat demonstrates excellent cold and drought resistance, as well as resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, septoria, pyrenophora, and downy mildew.

The grain of this variety exhibits high baking qualities: protein content is 12.8-14.6%, gluten content — 29-34%, and 1000-grain weight — 38-42 grams. Due to these characteristics, the wheat is suitable for producing high-quality flour with high dough strength. All these features make Odesa Tradition an attractive choice for intensive and universal use in agriculture, ensuring stable and high yields with minimal input.
