Wheat variety "Pandia" is a high-yield variety recommended for cultivation in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine. This variety is characterized by high plasticity and resistance to biotic and abiotic factors, ensuring stable and high yields ranging from 6.9 to 10.5 tons per hectare, with guaranteed exceedance of national standards by 8-14.5%. The vegetation period is 278-283 days, making it a medium-maturing variety. Plants reach a height of 86-97 cm, have a semi-spreading bush form, and bear cylindrical awned spikes approximately 10-12 cm long, well-kerneled and large, with 61-70 kernels and productivity of 680-710 stems per square meter. Variety "Pandia" exhibits high resistance to lodging, shattering, and root germination. It has above-average frost and winter hardiness (7-8 points), as well as high drought and heat tolerance. Among diseases, the variety is resistant to brown rust (6-7 points), tolerant to head fusarium and powdery mildew, and moderately susceptible to powdery mildew (4-5 points). Grain quality is classified as extra-strong wheat with gluten strength of 400 arbitrary units, gluten content of 32-34%, and protein content of 13-14.5%. Kernels are red, medium-sized, with 1000-kernel weight of 37.6-43.5 grams. Variety "Pandia" is recommended for sowing in various agroclimatic zones, including steppes, forest-steppe, and Polissia. It is suitable for intensive farming using modern soil and fertilizer technologies, which helps maximize yield potential. Thanks to its high technological and agronomic characteristics, this variety is a reliable choice for cereal crops, ensuring stable quality and quantity of harvest.
