Wheat Landscape

Stable yields in challenging environments

Winter wheat "Peizazh" is the result of collaborative breeding efforts by the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute and the National Research Center "Institute of Agriculture of NAAS of Ukraine". This variety is designed for farmers who prioritize risk mitigation in grain production. The primary goal of incorporating this variety into crop rotation is to achieve predictable, high yields despite the climate challenges inherent to Ukrainian agriculture.

Practical aspects of cultivation

• Sowing window flexibility: The variety demonstrates resilience to variations in planting dates, allowing for flexible field operations planning based on soil moisture availability in autumn.
• Technological reliability: "Peizazh" responds well to intensive cultivation practices while maintaining productivity even with moderate fertilizer application. This makes it an excellent choice for farms aiming to optimize costs per hectare.
• Winter hardiness: Genetic resistance to low temperatures enables the variety to effectively utilize the autumn vegetation period and recover rapidly after winter dormancy.

Farmers choose this variety to ensure stable total grain production. High test weight and quality parameters make the harvest suitable for both domestic trade and export. "Peizazh" serves as a technological tool for the agronomist, enabling the mitigation of negative effects from unstable weather patterns and helping to achieve targeted profitability metrics.
