Wheat variety Patras is a German non-tassel winter type, distinguished by high cold resistance and drought tolerance. This medium-maturing compensatory variety features early spring vegetation start and successfully withstands temperature fluctuations, including frosts and hot, dry weather. Thanks to breeding work focused on accelerated grain filling, Patras demonstrates stable yield even under high temperatures during grain formation. The variety possesses genetically enhanced resistance to diseases such as Fusarium ear rot and powdery mildew, allowing to minimize yield losses with proper fungicide application within intensive cultivation technology.
