Wheat Academic 100

Science-backed agricultural performance

"Akademichna 100" represents the culmination of years of dedicated research by the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the NAS of Ukraine. This soft winter wheat variety is widely regarded in the domestic market as a high-performance benchmark, blending sophisticated scientific breeding with the adaptive robustness required by the Ukrainian climate.

Key performance indicators

Designed for farmers who prioritize yield predictability, "Akademichna 100" minimizes risks associated with crop diseases and physical damage. The variety is characterized by:

• Robust Immunity: Demonstrates strong resistance to major pathogens, including brown rust, septoria, fusarium head blight, and powdery mildew. This reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, saving on input costs.
• Structural Integrity: Excellent resistance to lodging makes this variety particularly reliable for regions prone to heavy rain or wind before harvest.
• Seed Quality: With a thousand-seed weight of 35–40 grams, the variety ensures uniform emergence and strong initial plant development.

The reputation of "Akademichna 100" is built on its consistency. It is not an experimental hybrid but a stable, trusted tool that performs reliably across various soil types and management regimes. By integrating this variety into their rotation, producers leverage the expertise of the NAS of Ukraine, ensuring a high-quality harvest that meets the demands of modern agribusiness. It remains an ideal choice for intensive farming operations looking for a balance between genetic potential and environmental resilience.
