Soft winter wheat of the NADEZHDA® variety is a medium-maturing grain variety developed to achieve high yields and quality grain. This variety is characterized by vigorous autumn tillering, forms a uniform canopy of medium height ranging from 76 to 108 cm, and possesses stable development. The ear is cylindrical, loose, of medium length, with a white color; the kernel is large and uniform, with a 1000-kernel mass ranging from 37 to 50 grams, ensuring high grain density — 790-810 g/l. The variety differs in good winter hardiness, comparable to the Bezenchukskaya 380 and Kazanskaya 285 varieties, as well as resistance to diseases and drought, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Middle Volga region and the Southwestern zone of the Penza region.
The yield of the NADEZHDA® variety is high and stable: the average yield in the region is about 27.1 c/ha, while maximum indicators reach 65.1 c/ha, which was recorded in the Republic of Tatarstan. The variety exhibits good resistance to lodging, although it slightly lags behind some other varieties, and is characterized by a semi-erect bush with an intermediate growth type. The waxy coating on the ear and upper internodes is moderately strong, which helps protect the plant from adverse factors.
In terms of baking qualities, wheat NADEZHDA® meets high requirements: protein content in the grain varies from 15.0 to 16.2%, raw gluten — about 32.6%. Dough and valormetric indicators indicate high flour quality, confirmed by a general baking score of 4.5 points. These characteristics make the variety ideal for producing high-quality flour and bakery products. Thanks to its properties and adaptability, the NADEZHDA® variety is recommended for widespread use in agriculture, ensuring a stable and quality harvest.
