Wheat variety LG ABRAZO is an early, high-yielding variety adapted for cultivation in central and southern regions of Ukraine, including the forest-steppe and northern steppe zones. This variety features semi-dwarf or medium-height plants, ranging from 65 to 85 cm in height, and belongs to the early maturity group. The ear can be awned or awnless, depending on growing conditions. The seeding rate is 3.3 to 5 million seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density for achieving high yields.
LG ABRAZO is characterized by high resistance to various stress factors. It exhibits excellent drought tolerance (8–9 out of 9 points), good winter hardiness (6.5–7 points), and high resistance to lodging and ear shattering (up to 9 points). The variety shows high tolerance to diseases such as leaf septoria, powdery mildew, Fusarium head blight, yellow and brown rust, with resistance ratings of 7–8 points, ensuring stable yields and reducing the need for intensive plant protection.
The grain quality of LG ABRAZO belongs to Group A, indicating its high bread-making value. The protein content in the grain is approximately 13.5%, and gluten content is around 21%, providing good flour processing properties. The variety is suitable for minimum soil tillage and demonstrates high adaptability to various soil types. Due to its combination of high productivity, resistance to adverse conditions, and high-quality grain, LG ABRAZO is a reliable choice for farmers seeking stable and high-quality wheat yields.
